Wow.. I think it has been about 1 1/2 months since i last update my blog.. Have been very busy at work lately.. that's one of the reasons.. another is i have to help tutor my youngest brother in his studies cos his PSLE is coming up soon.. Busy, busy me.. Hehehe..
Lately at work, it is kinda stressful at the moment. Cos our OT amount is too high so the bosses are asking a lot of questions why our OT amount is very high.. mostly its because there is not enough crews on floor so we had to extend some crews for floor coverage.. Longterm solution to this prob: hire more crews.. but it is easier said than done.. So for now, most of the managers are working like mad people and most of us managers are falling sick..
I am sick now.. am having fever.. i think could be due to overworked.. mostly i am working 10 to 12 hours 2 to 3 days straight.. i think that i'm gonna have a mental n physical breakdown soon.... some may think that working in a quick service restaurant is very easy.. but in reality it is a very challenging job.. both physically and mentally challenging.. Lots of things to take care of.. I am taking care of inventory and is the assistant drive thru manager in my store.. plus all the little things here and there.. only those who are working or has worked in this line will understand the amount of pressure that we have to face everyday.. even on our off days..
the good point of my job is that i get to know and work with people of all races.. I get to learn different languages n culture from them.. I now have friends who are from People Republic of China, Philippines, Indonesia and Malaysia. I am trying to learn the Philippine language and it is quite similar to Malay.. Interesting huh.. and I am also still trying to learn Korean language.. mostly thru watching Korean dramas on DVD and also translation books.. Hehe..
Enough of my ramblings for now.. hmm... i have gone on and on that i almost forgot to say something.. It is kinda belated but i guess its still ok since it is still August... So, I would like to wish my dearest country Singapore, "HAPPY 43RD BIRTHDAY!!!!!" I hope that we will continue to prosper and grow and live in peace and harmony with each other... We have come a long way since our beginings as a small island called TEMASEK.. well, we are still an island but a more prosporous and well recognised nation.. :o)

Shi An's Bday..
Today at work, my crews n I gave a surprise for one of our Beanie, Shi An.. His bday is coming up in the weekend but we decided to give him a surprise today cos he will be on leave during the weekend.. He was quite shocked n i could see that he was quite touched by our gesture.. Its because that u are such a good fren n worker that we did this for u..

Kallang McDonald G.O.
This month, on the 8th June 2008, Kallang McDonalds had a Grand Opening / New Look celebration.. Fun filled day for everyone.. Its a day to celebrate our new look after an "extreme makeover" renovation in March. Now the store looks brand new and nicer. We even opened a McCafe in Kallang McDonalds. Kak Dalima's wedding..
My boyfriend and I went to a wedding of an ex-manager of ours today.. It was kak Dalima's wedding.. She is one of the most beautiful and kindest manager of McDonalds.. but she's not workin at McD animore.. Went with a bunch of Mcd crews and managers. it was like a reunion of Mcd crews and managers for us cos some of us has left for other jobs and some had already transferred to another branch of McD.. niway, here are some of the photos.. Kak Dalimah was very pretty and sweet and beautiful today..

Finally my very first laptop has arrived!! Bought this laptop with my hard earned money. I'm actually typing this entry in my new laptop.. hehe.. :0)
Its a Sony Vaio laptop and is Pure White in colour.. I have decided that this is going to be my new baby.. gonna take care of it very well.. "My Precious.." as quoted in LOTR.. LOL..

Welcome to MoreoLand!!!
Well.. this is my first entry..
Hmm.. Why the name MoreoLand??
Its actually started when I mispronounced a word. I was going to say to my crew, "1 more Oreo Mcflurry".. but due to my speaking to fast, it came out as : "1 moreo" thus my crew started calling me Moreo.... another nickname to add to my ever increasing list of nicknames..
Its not too bad.. the nick "Moreo" .. I'm kinda starting to like it now.. hehehe..
